If you have tried a few times to log in using 2-step verification and are certain that you are using the correct code from your authenticator app, then there's a good chance that the authentication failures may be due to a time sync issue between your device and the authentication servers.

If you have an Android device and experience this issue persistently, we also recommend that you check your Date & Time settings and make sure that your device time is set to Automatic:
- Tap Settings to open the Settings menu.
- Tap Date & Time.
- Tap Automatic.
