When you set up a Nutmeg account, we give you a unique account number. This number is in the form of NEXXYYYY, where XX is the first two letters of your last name and YYYY is a four-digit number. Please do not share this number with anyone else.
Most of the time you won't need your account number. However, if you transfer money from your bank account to your Nutmeg account you’ll need to use this number as the reference number for the transfer. This allows us to correctly assign the money to your account and avoid delay.
How to find your account number
- On desktop: In the top-left of your dashboard once signed in or in the Settings page available in the menu under your name at the top of the page.
- On mobile web: In Settings available in the ... menu from your homepage
- On the iOS app: In the Profile page in the bottom-right of the home screen
- Pension accounts: Pension accounts have an additional account number that can be found in your pension welcome pack sent by Nutmail after setting up your pension. You generally will not need to use this.
